Hot Fudge Sauce
This is the kind
that when cooked for the longer time and served hot, hardens on
ice cream. Melt in a double boiler OVER not IN boiling water:
2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1 tbsp. butter
Stir and blend well, then add
1/3 cup boiling water
2 tbsp. corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla extract
I use the microwave to cook this on a high heat for 5 minutes then
stir, cook for another 5 minutes. If you want the thick stuff, cook
some more. This also makes a good addition to coffee by the spoonful.
